Hope Found at Narconon: A Program that Was Worth Trying

When my son was young he was very outgoing and popular.

When he was 25 I noticed he was not acting like his usual self. He did not want me to come to see him and he would not come to see me. I discovered that he was on drugs. This especially worried me as he had a little baby.

I started to research ways to help him and found Narconon. It seemed like a program that was worth trying. I told my son about it, but he was not ready to do this immediately.

But when my son decided that he was going to deal with his addiction, we were ready to help him and took him to Narconon.  When we first arrived it was a little sad as neither he nor his parents had any idea what exactly he would find. We even took our dog along on the ride to Narconon to support him!

I am very happy we helped him go to Narconon as it came out very well in the end. When my son came home from Narconon he was able to get his life together and deal with any rough spots and get through them without needing drugs. He even quit smoking on his own.

He is doing well. He is married with 2 grown children and helps me by acting as my chauffeur. He is his former outgoing self.

“My advice to other parents is to keep their eye on their children and be there ready to help.”

My advice to other parents is to keep their eye on their children and be there ready to help. Let them decide to change their lives, but help them and back them up fully to do the right thing.
